Ravings of an Intermittent Fool

I've just found out that a new comedy club just opened up in the Cincinnati area. Funny Bone on the Levee, obviously part of the Funny Bone chain, appears to be aiming for more well known comedians in its lineup than Cincinnati's other club, Go Bananas. The Funny Bone opened New Year's Eve with Robert Schimmel. He appears through Sunday (tonight). Thanks to online ticketing, i can see that there are seats available, so prehaps I can convince someone to go with me.

Update: Jeff and Matt went with me. Tickets were $20 but there was no drink or food minimums. Very nice. Seatings starts 30 minutes before the show or 60 minutes before if you are having dinner. Presumabling there is some minimum with dinner otherwise you would always show up for dinner to get better seats (its first come first served). The room is very spacious and has three tiers of seatings which makes sight lines very good. Two downsides: no one seemed to know how to operate the climate controls...it felt like a sauna in there. Secondly, they don't do parking validation...yet (the manager guy said they are working on it). Oh one other thing, the table behind us must have spilled their candle because i found wax on my new jacket. Fortunately it is a water proof jacket, so it shouldn't be too hard to get it off...but a pain in the ass nonetheless. Oh and Schimmel was hysterical.
