Apparently, someone finds my photography to be gothic. A new Yahoo Group called Cincinnati Gothic 2 has linked to my photo of the Tyler Davidson Fountain as their website wallpaper. Looks like I need to update my business cards and add "Gothic Photographer" to the mix.

I don't really know what goth is but in my opinion goth is an idea. Not a style. It symbolizes death and beauty found in everything dark. I'm not into labels and I think that "goth" and "emo" is fake and immature. People should be noticed for how they are and not what people make them out to be. You all are a bunch of posers, you have no idea what the gothic subculture is about. It is about finding the beauty in darkness, and you are flawnting the word "goth" or "gothic" around everytime you see or hear that someone wears a lot of black. The attire in the gothic subculture is not everything, and though it is true that most people who consider themself to be gothic, wear black and what not, you don't have to. It's simply a way of life, not a clothing style.
