While visiting relative's in Chicago last week, I got to ride a Segway at the Museum of Science and Industry. I was a bit surprised on how sensitve the controls were. Its a bit disconcerting to feel the machine constantly make micro-adjustments as you stand still and the turning isn't as smooth as I would have expected but I imagine it is something you get used to. Check me out in action:
