Oxford English Dictionary Available Online at the Cincinnati Library

I've just discovered that the Oxford English Dictionary, one of the most important references for the English language, is available for free online for Cincinnati Library patrons. All you need is your library card number and your PIN and you can look up words and etymologies from where ever you are. This is fantastic. The only serious time I have spent with this work was in high school during study halls (I probably should have been studying). We were amazed at how massive the set of OED books were. The pages were onion skin thin and four logical pages of information were printed on each physical page of the massive tome. The writing was so tiny that the set of books came with its own magnifying glass. Online and portable is the only way to go for something like this.
