Brian comments on "Cooking and Recipe Wiki?"

List the recipe/cooking wikis you like best, in order. Then contribute a little to each one and see which one best recognizes your contributions and fulfills your needs for everything you'd want to get out of your own recipe/cooking wiki. Become a regular contributor to that wiki.

The content you bring in the form of not just recipes but articles, ideas, tips, etc., will elevate your "pet" recipe wiki, and your contributions with it.

Starting one's own wiki is relatively easy. Creating a thriving community (the main purpose of a wiki, IMHO) is the difficult part.

I invite you to look at DishiWiki.com, a free, noncommercialized wiki where "friends share recipes and talk about food and cooking."

k i guess im a "goth", and im only one by my black clothes and piercings. i see no beauty in darkness or light. and amanda, no offence but you make me sickk, the word "goth" can be different to anyone, to me its a style and music, and to you its beauty, but everyone can have their own opinion on it.I find no difference between darkness and light except in the dark you hit your knee on a desk or something, most ppl become "goth" because they don't know what else to do, i just like the clothes lmfao. I really don't give a damn if you like me or not for posting this, because i respect everyone as a human being, and i hope many of you do treat others the same.

Okay, all of you are getting this whole thing wrong. The gothic subculture is not all about attire. Although it is true that most people who considered themselves to be gothic, wear black and what not...but they do not necissarily have to. Gothic is about finding beauty in what is dark. Most of you discussing this are throwing the word "goth" or "gothic" around everytime you hear of or see someone who wears black or heavy make-up.
Thanks.

You all are a bunch of posers, you have no idea what the gothic subculture is about. It is about finding the beauty in darkness, and you are flawnting the word "goth" or "gothic" around everytime you see or hear that someone wears a lot of black. The attire in the gothic subculture is not everything, and though it is true that most people who consider themself to be gothic, wear black and what not, you don't have to. It's simply a way of life, not a clothing style.

By the way, just to clear things up, i'm not the same Kayla from earlier on. I must say that 99% you should really pay more attention in English class. Duz DIs Mak Me luK KOOOOOL?! Not quite. Shirleyizzo, you seem like a really cool person, i would love to meet you, too bad i'm not a big fan of Myspace. You have the right idea, these labels that society makes, and tags on everyone is only dividing an already divided world. I listen to many types of music, I don't listen to music because it falls into the category of a certain label, I listen to what I like. Because i'm such an Arch Enemy fan, Johan Liiva and Angela Wolf are amazing! Chick metal singers makes my stomach tingle and makes my heart drop. :D

Indeed... the holidays have a way of doing that. Especially ones like Easter, where people tend to have lots of "browsable" items out -- candy, cookies, hard boiled eggs, snack mix. Easier for me to avoid filling the plate a second (or third) time than it is to stop taking handfuls of stuff here and there.
